Do Not Miss A Bus In Barcelona

Like any other developed city Barcelona in Spain also has buses plying at regular intervals. Most of them are air-conditioned and all of them are maintained very well for their cleanliness and upkeep. Sitting on a good bus it is very nice to enjoy sight seeing in Barcelona rather than engaging a car.

While at Arc de Triomf metro station, it is easier to have access to the main Bus station at Estacio’ del Nord , through a subway. From there it is possible to see or visit a number of places, as the bus (route No L1) moves around the city. There is no need to make any advance reservation. Every nook and corner of the city is very well connected by these local bus service. For the benefit of visitors maps showing the routes as well as showing the areas, are on display in the bus shelters . These are the maps which show routes and areas of the buses that stop or pass through that particular bus shelter. There are long distance buses connecting Barcelona with various cities and towns such as Zaragoza,Madrid, coast of Valencia and Alicante. The prominent Bus operators branching out in the National Express Group are San Andre’s, Aveninda Meridiana and Sants, Calle Viriato, Alsa.
